Two kinds of 5G
Not every 5G is the same
Seeing 5G in the status bar does not mean you are on full 5G. The app tells NSA from SA and draws each in its own color on the map.

Both the radio and the core are 5G. This is the setup needed for lower latency and newer 5G capabilities.

Is 5G Signal Finder free?
Yes. The app is free and every feature is available to everyone; there is no subscription or Pro tier.
What is the difference between 5G NSA and 5G SA?
With NSA, the 5G radio is anchored to a 4G core network. With SA, both radio and core are 5G. The app tells them apart and shows each in its own color on the map.
Which countries does it work in?
The app measures in every country. How dense the map looks depends on how many users have measured in that area.
Does background recording drain the battery?
Background recording uses location services. You can turn it off in Settings; the app still measures while it is open.
Is there an Android version?
The iOS version is available from this site today. The Android link will appear here once it is published.
Which languages are supported?
The app is available in 33 languages, including English and Turkish.
