About 5G Signal Finder

5G Signal Finder is a mobile app for real-world 4G and 5G coverage, built from measurements people contribute with their devices.

The product

5G Signal Finder is a mobile network intelligence app. It is for people who want to see coverage as it is measured, not only as it is drawn on a planning map. The app records the kind of observations a phone can make: technology such as 4G, 5G NSA, and 5G SA, performance tests for download, upload, and ping, and the geographic context of those readings.

Contributed measurements are what make a shared picture possible. This website is the public front door to that picture: guides that explain the technology, and coverage pages that will publish the production dataset when the API is connected.

What this website will and will not do

  • Explain coverage, 5G modes, speed tests, and carrier comparison in plain language.
  • Link you to the App Store and Google Play when those store URLs are configured.
  • Show countries, carriers, cities, and statistics only from the production API.
  • Skip fabricated percentages, rankings, user counts, and sample speeds.

Privacy and retention practices are not described on this page. Those details belong in the app’s own privacy notice, and this site does not paraphrase them from assumption.
